Human-Earth relationships: Time to learn from the Indigenous peoples

Three Minute Thesis (3MT) and Ma Thèse en 180 Secondes (MT180) are, respecively, the English and the French version of a competition in which graduate students present their research in 3 minutes or less, with one static slide.

My university, McGill University, being in a city where both English and French are largely used, organizes both versions of the competition. I participated in different editions, most of the times in English, the last time in French.

I never won any prize, I never reached the final. But I have undoubtedly improved my presentation skills, both in English and in French.

This is the slide of my Ma Thèse en 180 Secondes (MT180) 2018 presentation. As you can see, the title was Relations homme-Terre: il est temps d’apprendre des peuples autochtones, which can be translated as Human-Earth relationships: (It is) Time to learn from the Indigenous peoples.
